OUR STORY · FRANCE · UNITED KINGDOM

I’m Zouzou. — And I’m Mimi. Thank you for reading us already.

We are two sisters from France, 6 and 12 years old.

Éclorya is built slowly, with questions, our own savings and adult supervision where it is needed.

We hope the bottles can travel much further than we do.

Mimi and Zouzou with Éclorya bottles dreaming of travelling from France to the United Kingdom

Two sisters, five oils and bottles with travel plans

01

HELLO

Two sisters from France.

I’m Zouzou. And I’m Mimi. Thank you for reading us already. We are 6 and 12, and Éclorya grows through our questions, ideas and our own savings.

Dad helps, supervises and handles the things children obviously should not handle alone. But the savings really are ours, which Zouzou likes to mention whenever she wants to buy something.

02

PRICKLY PEAR

A spiky plant with a very delicate oil.

Prickly pear seed oil is widely used in routines for dry and mature skin and is said to support softness, glow and the appearance of fine lines caused by dryness*. See our prickly pear seed oil.

Zouzou: ‘Imagine one little bottle ending up in London.’ Mimi: ‘It would have travelled further than us that day.’

03

POMEGRANATE

A different personality altogether.

Pomegranate seed oil is often used for mature-feeling skin, comfort and radiance*. See pomegranate seed oil.

We do not want every product to have the same ten benefits. Differences are more interesting.

04

DATE KERNEL

The part people throw away can still have a story.

Date kernels can be pressed into an oil used for softness in skin and dry hair lengths*. See date kernel oil.

Plants keep surprising us, which is probably why the blog keeps getting longer.

05

ARGAN

The tree belongs to Morocco. The bottle can travel.

Argan oil has a long association with Morocco and is traditionally used for dry skin and dry hair lengths*. See our argan oil.

Being a French brand does not mean pretending every plant grew in France.

Botanical oils, seeds and travel details representing Éclorya products travelling from France
The raw materials have origins. The bottles may have destinations.
06

ÉLIXIR ROYAL

Sometimes several oils make more sense together.

Our Élixir Royal brings several oils into one routine. We like that idea because it is about complementing rather than defeating one another.

Mimi and Zouzou work like that too. Together they are better sisters.

07

WHY WE WRITE

A shop can answer questions before it sells.

Why does winter skin feel tight? Why can a face oil help some people and feel heavy to others? Why does dark glass matter? These are the kinds of questions that become Carnet articles.

If someone finds us on Google and learns something before they ever click Shop, that feels useful.

08

THE LITTLE ASTERISK

We can talk about reputation without pretending it is certainty.

If an oil is traditionally used for glow, fine lines, dry hair or softness, we can say so*. The asterisk reminds us that experience varies and traditional use is not a medical guarantee.

It lets us keep the stories without turning every plant into a miracle.

09

THE UK

A place we would love the bottles to reach.

We are not claiming shops in London, Manchester, Birmingham or Edinburgh. We simply like imagining a small dark bottle leaving France and arriving there one day.

If you are reading this in Britain, the words got there first.

10

DRY SKIN

A common reason people look for oils.

The NHS explains that emollients help dry, itchy or scaly skin by covering the skin with a protective film that helps trap moisture. NHS on emollients.

That does not make every face oil an eczema treatment, but it explains why lipid-rich textures are part of the dry-skin conversation.

11

MATURE SKIN

Comfort can change how skin looks.

UK beauty guidance often positions facial oils for dry and mature skin, while stressing that people respond differently. LOOKFANTASTIC on face oils.

That is exactly how we prefer to talk: useful, but individual.

12

HAIR TOO

Oil is not only a face ritual.

Argan and other plant oils are commonly used in dry ends for shine and softness*. They do not medically treat hair loss.

We keep that boundary clear in our hair articles.

13

THE BOTTLE

Dark glass is not there only to look expensive.

Light, oxygen and heat can affect botanical oils over time. That is why we care about storage and packaging.

Zouzou mostly cares about the pipette. Mimi pretends this is less important.

14

OUR SAVINGS

No, it is not Dad’s secret hobby budget.

We save and choose things together. Dad helps with safety, legal questions, technology and the adult parts.

Zouzou: ‘So we buy what we want?’ Mimi: ‘Almost. That word is doing a lot of work.’

15

LONDON TO EDINBURGH

Cities are destinations, not invented locations.

Maybe prickly pear travels to London, pomegranate to Manchester, argan to Birmingham and Élixir Royal to Edinburgh. Maybe the opposite.

We will never pretend we already have a shop or office somewhere just because it would look good in search results.

16

SLOWLY

No stress is part of the plan.

We would rather add languages, articles and products one step at a time.

If a bottle travels far, we still want it to feel like something two sisters thought carefully about.

16

EVERYDAY HABITS

Small things can change the result.

Hot showers, central heating, frequent product changes, tight hairstyles and friction can all affect skin or hair alongside the product itself.

That is why changing one thing at a time is one of the most useful habits in any routine.

17

ONE CHANGE AT A TIME

A simple way to learn what works.

If cleanser, moisturiser, oil and shampoo all change in the same week, it becomes difficult to identify what helped or irritated you.

Slow experimentation is less exciting than a dramatic makeover, but far more useful in real life.

18

EXPECTATIONS

Good care does not need a dramatic before-and-after.

Softer skin, less tightness, more radiance or hair that feels less brittle can all be meaningful cosmetic outcomes*.

We prefer realistic improvements to claims that assume every person will respond in exactly the same way.

19

SEEDS, KERNELS AND TREES

A small shop can contain a lot of botany

Behind each bottle is a plant part and a place: a seed, kernel, fruit or tree. We like tracing the story backwards and understanding why that material is used. It also lets the raw ingredient keep its true geographical identity even though the Éclorya brand itself is French.

20

WHAT WE DO NOT WANT

We do not need to attack other brands

If another seller has a well-made oil, knows the supply chain and has happy customers, good. We would rather explain our own choices than build Éclorya on suspicion. Telling people why we like something feels much more like us than making unsupported claims that somebody else’s bottle is bad.

21

ZOUZOU’S QUESTIONS

The simplest questions often become the best articles

Why does one oil smell stronger? Why is another expensive? Why dark glass? Can the same oil be used on hair and face? Mimi does not always know immediately. Sometimes the most honest answer is that we need to read, ask questions and understand first. That is part of Éclorya too.

22

BRITAIN ON OUR MAP

Destinations – not fictional branches

We can imagine prickly pear in London, pomegranate in Manchester, argan in Birmingham and perhaps Élixir Royal in Edinburgh. Those cities are destinations in our story, not places where we pretend to have shops or offices. The bottle gets to travel without the truth having to move.

23

SKIN AND HAIR

The oils do not need identical jobs

Argan is often used on dry hair ends*, prickly pear on dry or mature facial skin*, pomegranate for radiance* and date kernel for softness*. We like each raw material keeping its own personality. It feels far more believable than giving every bottle the same list of ten miracles.

24

THE LITTLE ASTERISK

Tradition can be shared without becoming a guarantee

When people have long used a plant for softness, comfort or haircare, that story can be worth telling*. The asterisk simply reminds readers that people respond differently and that traditional or cosmetic use is not the same as a medical treatment or a guaranteed individual result.

25

OUR SAVINGS

Yes, they really are part of the story

Dad helps with safety, rules, technology and all the things two children should not be responsible for. But our ideas and savings are a real part of Éclorya too. Whenever Zouzou wants another type of bottle, she likes reminding everyone who saved the money. Mimi usually reminds her that budgets exist.

26

WHEN SOMEONE ASKS

We want better answers than price and delivery

How many drops? Where did the raw material come from? How should the oil be stored? What does organic certification mean? What should you do if skin reacts? Those are the questions we want to answer better and better. The more we can explain, the less we need words such as miracle or number one.

27

THE WORDS TRAVEL FIRST

If you are reading this in the UK, the journey has already started

Maybe a bottle reaches Britain later, maybe much later. But a story written in France has already reached your screen. Zouzou says that absolutely counts as travelling. Mimi agrees, especially because the article did not need to pack a toothbrush. We would rather grow exactly like that: slowly and without stress.
